I'm Prathmesh — a product designer based in Mumbai.
I started as a graphic designer, which means I grew up caring deeply about how things look. Over time, I realised that great design isn't just about visuals, it's about how something works, how it feels, and whether it actually solves a real problem. That shift in thinking shaped the kind of designer I became.
Today I work across the full design process, from research to wireframes, prototyping, accessibility, systems, and developer handoff. But if you ask me where I'm strongest, it's visual design and design systems: the craft of making something look and feel exactly right, consistently, at scale.
T-shaped designer — what that means for me
I'm what's known as a T-shaped designer — someone who has broad skills across the full design process, but with one area where the depth really lives.
The broad part: I've worked across user research, wireframing, prototyping, accessibility, motion, 3D, and developer handoff. I've done all of it professionally, across real products, with real teams.
The deep part is visual design and design systems. That's where I'm at my strongest, the craft of making something look and feel exactly right, consistently, at scale. I care about pixel precision, typography, colour, spacing, and the logic behind every component in a system. I've built design systems at Cisco that are still used by global teams, and published one on Figma Community that 74+ designers have adopted.
The breadth matters because it makes the depth more useful. Because I understand research, accessibility, and developer constraints, my visual decisions aren't just polished — they hold up in the real world.
