I'm Prathmesh — a product designer from Mumbai.

I've spent my career turning complicated software into things that feel simple. Design systems, enterprise UX, 3D and motion work — I do it all, and I do it with a lot of care.

Previously at Cisco, currently freelancing for clients including McKinsey.

Forma Atomic Design System

Atomic design is a methodology for creating design systems that emphasises breaking down user interfaces into their fundamental components and then assembling them into more complex structures. This approach, proposed by Brad Frost, draws an analogy from chemistry to describe how components can be combined to build up an entire design system.

Forma System Icon Set

The Forma Icon Set is a meticulously crafted collection of vector icons designed to enhance digital interfaces with clarity and consistency. Each icon in the set is built on a 24x24 pixel grid, ensuring uniformity and alignment across various applications. The icons feature clean lines and balanced proportions, making them versatile for use in web, mobile, and product design.

I've known Prathmesh for many years now, and he stands out as one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic professionals I've had the pleasure of knowing.
There hasn't been a single day when he wasn't excited about what he does. His work is obviously impeccable, and his attention to detail and commitment to excellence are truly admirable. What's equally impressive, however, is his optimistic attitude towards his work and people around him. He is always trying to learn something new, consistently seeking out opportunities to grow and improve his skills.
Prathmesh's passion for his craft and his commitment to continuous learning make him an invaluable asset to any team.

  • Nandini Krishnamurthy, Staff Product Designer at Intuit

I had the pleasure of working with Prathmesh in 2014 in TinyOwl, and his passion and ownership stood out right from the start. He consistently delivered high quality illustrations and graphic artefacts, bringing fresh ideas inspired by industry trends. Beyond his craft, what impressed me most was his responsiveness and strong sense of accountability, traits that made him a reliable and inspiring teammate.

  • Raghul Selvam, Product Designer @ Cisco

I had the pleasure of working closely with Prathmesh as a fellow product designer for 5 years, and he truly stands out as a teammate. His technical skills are top-notch—he always finds smart, thoughtful solutions to design challenges—but what impressed me most is how collaborative and approachable he is. No matter how busy he is, he never hesitates to help a teammate, explain his thought process, or share his knowledge in a way that makes everyone around him better. Working with him has not only been a great learning experience but also a reminder of how much stronger a team becomes when you have someone as supportive and skilled as him.

  • Ketki Athavale, Leader, Product Manager @ Cisco

I've had the chance to work with Prathmesh for over 4 years and can tell you his knowledge of product design coupled with his grasp of design processes is excellent. He is meticulous in his work, with great attention to detail, and can work with speed. If I were to look to anyone to deliver a complex UX design, it would be him. He also works constantly to further his design know-how, experimenting with 3D design, video tools and more. One of my favorite projects at Cisco was one where we explored designing an app for Vision Pro and couldn't have done it without Prathmesh's mastery over his skillset.

  • Sarah Newman, Engineering Product Manager @ Cisco

Prathmesh is an exceptional and experienced product designer whom I had the pleasure of working with during our time at Cisco and Involvio, as both a colleague and his reporting manager.

Prathmesh consistently impresses with his creativity and ability to translate ideas into visual user journeys. His strengths lay in design finesse, prototyping, and the ability to navigate and solve complex UX challenges. This was particularly evident in a project related to a product prototype for Apple Vision Pro where Prathmesh was required to push his design boundaries when designing for an immersive user experience.

Always open to feedback, staying up to date with design trends, and active in extra-currilular design activities, Prathmesh has has brought both talent and teamwork to every project. I’d highly recommend Prathmesh as a product designer and colleague.

What I admire most about him is not just his design expertise, but also his willingness to share knowledge and guide others. He has a natural knack for mentoring—always patient, approachable, and generous with feedback—which makes him an invaluable team player.

Whether it was brainstorming creative solutions, refining design flows, or mentoring juniors, Prathmesh brought both professionalism and empathy to the table. I would highly recommend him to any team looking for a skilled designer/leader and an inspiring colleague.
